Which exam is for me?

First, check with your hospital or facility to determine their preference. Most facilities will honor both as certification for differentials, but not always. In the world of maternal child, the RNC is more often preferred. For some children hospitals, they prefer the CCRN, as the CCRN is internationally recognized as critical care specific.

If your facility doesn’t care which certification you obtain, then it is strictly personal preference. There are benefits to both certifications. During the program, our speaker will discuss both so that you can make an informed decision.

About the Program

Program content is a compilation of the blueprints (exam outlines) from NCC and AACN so that the attendee receives a well-rounded review.

Whether you are at the beginning of your study or using the program as a final confirmation of your knowledge, this program will aid you in obtaining certification.

We design our programs to be low stress to improve learning and retention. Because some attendees are at the beginning of their study and the added pressure of the exam looming is too much and the stress actually hinders learning. For others, they believe they are ready, but after the program, find they need a little more time. To try to take the exam then, leads to a lot of pressure and knowledge cramming with poor success. Another group finds the program to be a final confirmation of knowledge and the confidence booster to succeed. Pro Ed gives you the tools to decide when you are ready.
